We’re in a big anniversary year for Jubilee! Isai Robledo, a gifted artist in the San Cristobal Jubilee Circle, designed this wonderful graphic for JEM’s 25th year. It expresses the great root system your donations have fed and watered. And now look at the tree!
Every year Jubilee Circles have plans. Many happen. And many more things happen that weren’t planned at all. Well, that is, no humans planned them. All the Circles live our days open to the breezes of the Holy Spirit. The following are examples of what various Jubilee ministries have in mind for 2025.
Isai Robledo created this graphic for our 25th year. He is part of the San Cristobal Jubilee Circle in Chiapas, MX. He and his wife, Lindsey, lead the Alter-Nativas ministries which include administering the Tumín currency for the region.
The birth of Jesus brought an entirely new creation to all who moved out of devotion to empire and temple into this new way of thinking and acting. In Jubilee all of our ministries express or tilt toward living in this new creation.
A new ministry is slowly emerging in the San Diego Jubilee Circle that’s inspired by the San Diego Food System Alliance. Ben White has led this with his deep sense of regenerative agriculture and biodiversity underground.
