The Covenant recognizes that food is tightly connected with water use, land use, and over-population. Even so, emphasizing all four at once quickly overloads us. So we’ll emphasize food first, even as our thought and action will often overlap with water and land use as well as over-population.
Many of us in our learning have been trained in many good skills, but we’ve not trained to heighten our ability to detect the Spirit’s powerful flows. Earth science has discovered in the past 25 years that 80% or all known life on our planet is underground, and that the activity of those species has enormous impact: they generate life. This discovery vastly changes how we think about soil and work with its powers. The same happens when we discover the flows of Spirit.
